Stage 3:

Stage 3 is one of the most complicated stages. In this stage, usually, one or more tumors have been finding out, and one of them is larger than 5 cm. In some cases, it moves beyond the liver and marks a presence in the large blood vessels along with the lymph nodes as well. It is further divided into 3A and 3B.

3B: 3B stage indicates that it grows into the main blood vessel of the liver. It could be the portal vein or the hepatic vein. In some cases, the nearby organs of the liver also have an effect. Stage 4:

Stage 4 indicates that cancer spread to other parts of the body like bones, lungs, or lymph nodes as well. This is one of the most dangerous stages. It is further divided into two stages: stages 4A and 4B

4A: 4A indicates that cancer can be of any size, and more than one tumor is present. Growth takes place in the blood vessels and in some organs around the liver as well. It marks the presence in lymph nodes but not in other parts of the body.

4B: 4B indicates that the size is quite big, and more than one tumor is present. It marks the presence in blood vessels and lymph nodes along with some other organs like lungs or bones.
